RAYMOND W. KRIESER

Raymond W. Krieser, 68, of 1706 S. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died early Saturday
morning after a short illness at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be
in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Krieser was born Oct. 13, 1894, in the Town of Cooperstown, son of the late
August and Wilhelmina Worm Krieser. He married Anna Mancel at Lark June 14, 1944,
and the couple moved to Manitowoc. He had been employed 25 years as a bridgetender
until retiring three years ago.
A veteran of World War I, he served June 28, 1918, until April 28, 1919, as a
private with Headquarters company of the 332nd Field Artillery. He was a member
of Otto Oas Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and World War I Barracks.
Surviving are his wife, two brothers, Ben, of California and Arnold of Maribel,
and a sister, Mrs. Selma Nuernburg, of Platteville, Wis.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Monday. Graveside military
rites will be by VFW Post.
