EDWIN V. KRISH

Edwin V. Krish, 75, of 1036 N. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and at
10 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Chruch, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo Schmitt
will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. There
will be military graveside rites by the American Legion.
Mr. Kirsh was born Nov. 20, 1896, at Cooperstown, Wis., son of the late
Wencel and Mary Marshek Krish. He married Tillie Sladkey June 5, 1923, at St.
Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Green Street. He was employed at Robert Eisner
Contractors for 40 years, retiring in 1962. He was veteran of World War I,
serving in Company E., 314 Division, from Aug. 8, 1918 to June 5, 1919. He
also served overseas in Germany. He was a member of American Legion Drews-
Bleser Post No. 88 and Holy Name Society of Holy Innocents Catholic Church,
Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, a daughter, two brothers, Wencel, of
Manitowoc, and Edward, of Maribel; and nine grandchildren. Two sisters
preceded him in death. (Survivors edited for living)
Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Thursday where a memorial
service will be at 8 p.m. by Holy Name Society, Parish and friends.
