Mrs. Edmund (Alice) Krohn, 86, formerly of 314 Riverview drive, Manitowoc, died Sunday evening, January 20, at Riverside Hospital in Waupaca, Wisconsin.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wesley United Methodist Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Robert B. Hays will officiate with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Krohn, nee Alice Vetting, was born January 24, 1897, in Manitowoc. She married Edmund W. Krohn on May 8, 1920, in Manitowoc. The couple lived in Manitowoc the majority of their life. She was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church and the Gold Star Mothers.
Survivors include her husband, Edmund of King, Wisconsin; a daughter and a son-in-law, Eileen and Richard Gerold of Green Bay; a granddaughter, Mrs. Ann Juretic/Mis (sic) and four great grandsons, Thomas, Richard, Jeffrey and James Juretic. She was preceded in death by a son, Jack; a daughter, Carol Delaney and a brother, Gilbert Vetting.
Friends may call at Wesley United Methodist Church from 10 a.m. on Wednesday until the time of service. There will be no Tuesday evening visitation. Pfeffer Funeral Home of Manitowoc is in charge of funeral services. Memorials may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church.
