EDWARD W. KRONBERG (d. 1967)

Edward W. Kronberg, Sr., of 526 Riverview Dr., Manitowoc, died Friday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he was a patient six days.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. A. T. Degner will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Kronberg was born April 13, 1894, at Bear Creek, Wis., son of the late Carl
and Susanna Hindermeister Kronberg, and married Martina J. Christianson July 26,
1920, at Menominee, Mich. The couple came to Manitowoc in 1942. She died June 3,
1965. Mr. Kronberg had been a carpenter and a World War I veteran as a private
in the artillery. He retired eight years ago.
Survivors include a son, Edward C., of Manitowoc, four daughters, Mrs. Robert
(Norma Kastner, Mrs. Eden (Maybelle) Kloida and Mrs. Lloyd (Ardis) Kerscher, of
Manitowoc and Mrs. Gerald (Betsy) Du Monthier, of Sheboygan, two brothers, Henry,
of Kaukauna and Fred of Bear Creek, a sister, Mrs. Otto Preuss, of Clintonville
and 16 grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Sunday until
11:30 a.m. Monday and at the church until time of service.
