Mrs. Edward Kronberg, 67, of 2815 Meadow Ln., Manitowoc, died Thursday afternoon
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient since February 6.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Bethany Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. Armin C. Roekle will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
The former Martina J. Christianson was born Oct. 10, 1897, in Denmark, daughter of
the late Hans and Ann Christianson, coming to the United States with her parents
as a child, settling with them at Tigerton, Wis.
She was married to Edward Kronberg, July 26, 1920, at Menominee, Mich., and the
couple came to Manitowoc in 1943. Mr. Kronberg was a member of the Auxiliary of
Veterans of Foreign Wars, Otto Oas Post, the City of Manitowoc Homemakers and
Bethany Church Ladies Aid Society.
Surviving are her husband, a son, Edward C. of Manitowoc; four daughters, Mrs.
Robert (Norma) Kastner, Mr. Eden (Maybelle) Kloida and Mrs. Lloyd (Ardis) Kerscher
of Manitowoc and Mrs. Gerald (Betsy) DuMonthier of Sheboygan; two brothers, Harold
and Kjelmer of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Gerda Jensen of LaVerne, N.D., and 15
grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home after 4:30 o’clock this Friday afternoon
until 2:45 p.m. Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church.
