ERNEST E. KRUCK (d. 1946)
Ernst E. Kruck, 61, a native of Manitowoc and veteran Soo Line
engineer, died Tuesday night at a Fond du Lac hospital. He had
made his home in that city for years.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Candlish
Funeral parlors, Fond du Lac, and the body will be brought to
Manitowoc after the services for interment in Evergreen cemetery.
There will be brief services at the grave here.
Mr. Kruck was born in Manitowoc in 1885 and attended local schools.
He took employment with the old Wisconsin Central railroad, later
the Soo Road, and moved to Fond du Lac, to operate trains out of
that division point.
He married Miss Jsoephine Scherer of this city, who survives with
a son, Ralph, of Fort Atkinson; daughter, Mrs. Vaughn McManus of
Janesville; and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Wood of Prospect Park, Pa.
The body may be viewed at the Fond du Lac funeral parlor.
