HERMAN KRUCK, CITY PIONEER, DIES, AGED 75
After an illness of several months, suffering from infirmities incident to old
age, Herman Kruck, well known ship carpenter, passed away at the Holy Family
Hospital this morning. The decedent was born in Germany seventy-five years ago
and came to this country fifty-five years ago, locating in this city, and was
employed at the local yards ever since. Three sons and two daughters survive him.
They are Herman Kruck, Jr., Racine, Conrad Kruck of this city, Ernst of Fond du
Lac, Mr. Frank Ritt of Marshfield and Mrs. George Wood of also survive (sic) The
funeral will be held from the home of his son, Conrad, 1602 New York Avenue,
Wednesday afternoon.
