ALBERTINA KRUEGER (d. 1943)

Mrs. Albertine Krueger, 87, died Monday at 5 p.m. at the home of her son,
Gustave Schrank in the town of Newton.
Funeral services will be held Friday, at 1:30 p.m. from the Pfeffer funeral
home and at 2 p.m. from St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran church at Newton with
the Rev. Edward Kionka officiating. Interment will be made in Evergreen
cemetery.
Mrs. Krueger, nee Albertine Busse, was born Nov. 2, 1855 in Germany and came
to this county in 1871. In 1876 she was married to Fred Schrank and after his
death she married Fred Krueger in 1886. Mr. Krueger died several years ago.
Survivors are one son, Gust Schrank of Newton route 1; one step-son, Julius
Schrank of this city; one sister, Mrs. August Arnold of Arcadia, Wis.; 21
grandchildren; and 36 great-grandchildren.
The body will lie in state at the funeral home from Thursday noon to the time
of the funeral.
