Mr. Frederick H. Krueger, 61, of 3380 Newtonburg Road, Manitowoc, died Friday
morning, September 16, 1988, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Michael Somes. Burial
committal service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Krueger was born April 14, 1927, on the Krueger Farm in the Town of Newton,
son of the late Adolph and Linda Meisner Krueger. He married the former
Bernice A. Witak on June 21, 1958, at St. Anne Catholic Church, Francis Creek.
He was engaged in farmed (sic) all his adult life and resided on the Krueger
Centennial Farm in the Town of Newton. Mr. Krueger was a member of St. Joseph
Catholic Church Parish, Alverno and a past member of Newton Volunteer Fire
Department and the Manitowoc County Farm Bureau.
Survivors include his wife, Bernice Krueger; father-in-law and mother-in-law,
Adolph and Alice Witak of Manitowoc, uncles, aunts and cousins also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his stepbrother, Helen Lena Pfefferkorn
Krueger and his mother-in-law, Viola Soukup Witak.
The family will receive friends at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Alverno, 6:30
p.m. Monday until the time of service at 8 p.m. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc,
is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Contributions would be
appreciated to Newton First Aid Responders or St. Joseph Church of Alverno.
