HENRY C. KRUEGER 1955

Henry C. Krueger, Sr., 84, of 1420 Division St., Manitowoc, died Friday after-
noon at the Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, following a brief illness.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L. H. Koeninger will officiate and burial
will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
He was born in Manitowoc in 1870 and in 1899 married Miss Martha Schultz. They
located on a farm in Newton and two years later came to Manitowoc. He was
employed by the North Western Railroad and later for a 30 year span was employed
by the Spindler Co. He retired in 1940. His wife died in 1953.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Arno Lettenberger, Mrs. Elsie Baethke and Miss
Marie of Manitowoc, Mrs. William Kerry of Audubon, Iowa and Mrs. Leonard Poe of
Inglewood, Calif.; son, Henry Jr., of Manitowoc; brother, August of Manitowoc;
11 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after Sunday
noon. The casket will be moved to the church at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
