Henry F. Krueger Jr., 66, of 1700 Grand Ave., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening
of a coronary attack while he and his wife were working on their cottage on
Horseshoe Lake in the Town of Meeme. He was dead on arrival at Holy Family
Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Theodore Sauer will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Krueger was born Aug. 12, 1900, at Manitowoc, son of the late Henry and Martha
Schult Krueger Sr. He married Nina Christensen in 1927 at Manitowoc and she died
in 1953. On April 21, 1962, he married Gertrude Karnopp at Manitowoc. He was
employed 50 years by the Manitowoc Engineering Corp.
Survivors include the wife; a son, Robert, of Lake Mills; a stepdaughter, Mrs.
Phillip (Caroline) Kramer, of Fond du Lac; five sisters, Mrs. Otto Bathke, of
Milwaukee, Mrs. William Keery, of Audubon, Iowa, Mrs. Arno Lettenberger and Miss
Marie Krueger, of Manitowoc and Mrs.Leonard Poe, of Inglewood, Calif., and three
grandchildren. A brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m.
Friday until noon Saturday when the casket will be removed to the church for
viewing until the time of services.
