Herbert Krueger, 59, of 1110 Park Row Blvd., Manitowoc, died late Wednesday
afternoon at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc, where he was entered as a patient
shortly before his death. He had been in ill health since September, 1960.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Grace Lutheran Church, Manitowoc,
the Rev. Max M. Herrmann officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mr. Krueger was born Feb. 12, 1902, at Reedsville, son of the late Otto and
Bertha Berkholz Krueger. He attended Reedsville schools and had been employed
the past 35 years as a mechanic for the Manitowoc County Highway Dept.
He married Elizabeth Brunig Sept. 25, 1930, at Mishicot, and they resided at
Manitowoc. He was a member of Grace Lutheran Church of Manitowoc and also a
member of Manitowoc Eagles, Aerie 706.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Carol at home; two sons, Gerald at home
and Allan of Sheboygan; a sister, Frieda of Rt. 1, Reedsville; two brothers,
Richard of Rt. 1, Reedsville, and Rueben of Hilbert, Calumet County, and two
grandchildren.
Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc until 10:30
a.m. Saturday when the casket will be moved to the church, where the body may be
viewed from 11 a.m. until the time of service.
