MARGARET L. KRUEGER (d. 1977)
Mrs. Reuben Krueger, 74, of 514 S. 31st St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly Tuesday
at home.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Wesley United Methodist Church,
Manitowoc. The Rev. David A. Passet will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery,
Manitowoc.
Mrs. Krueger, nee Margaret Weltgen, was born June 3, 1903, at Manitowoc, daughter
of the late Jacob and Louise Schmidt Weltgen. She attended schools in Manitowoc and
was married to Reuben Krueger Sept. 4, 1922, at Manitowoc. Following their marriage
they farmed from 1922 to 1951, when they moved to Manitowoc to reside. Mrs. Krueger
had been employed for 10 years at Rathsack Hardware, retiring in 1968. She was a
member of Wesley United Methodist Church. Mr. Krueger preceded her in death in 1958.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Philip (Mary Lou) Herchefske, of Manitowoc
and Mrs. Clifford (Dorothy) Meyers, of Oshkosh, five grandchildren, two great grand-
children, cousin, nieces and nephews. A daughter and a brother preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc , from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday and at
the church from 9 a.m. Saturday until the time of service. The casket will remain
closed. Memorials may be made to Wesley Untied Methodist Church.
