Wilfred D. (Bud) Krueger, 51, of 1355 Hazelwood Dr., Manitowoc, died Saturday,
Dec. 12, at his residence.
Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at First Lutheran Church. The Rev.
Bruce Hanstedt and Rev. Richard Lind will officiate and burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Krueger was born Oct 9, 1930, in the Town of Eaton, son of Myrtle Erickson
Krueger and the late Clarence Krueger. He attended schools in Valders and
graduated in 1948. Mr. Krueger was co-owner of Berkedal and Shimek for 27 years.
He married Barbara J. Berkedal, June 21, 1952, at Manitowoc. The couple resided
in Manitowoc all their lives. Mr. Krueger was a member of First Lutheran Church,
Kiwanis Club, Manitowoc Elks Club No. 687, Boy Scouts of America, Travelers
Protective Association and National Association of Tobacco Distributors.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara, three sons, Robert and Steven of Green
Bay and Dennis of Dillon, Colo.; a daughter, Ann, at home; his mother, Myrtle
Krueger; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Violet and Raphael Rusch of Collins
and Harriet and Wendel Knapp of Manitowoc; nieces and nephews. He was preceded
in death by a sister.
Friends may call at Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday and
from 9 a.m. till 11 a.m. Tuesday and then from noon until the time of services
at the church. Memorials may be made to First Lutheran Church and Boy Scouts
of America.
