Mrs. Charles W. Krug, 89, formerly of 712 S. Madison St., Chilton, died early
Thursday morning at Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, where she had been a
resident the past two years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Chilton. The
Rev. Allen Bowe, pastor of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Chilton, will officiate
and burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Krug, nee Luella Peterson, was born Jan. 9, 1881, at Manitowoc, daughter of
the late Louis and Anna Solverson Peterson. She was married to Charles W. Krug,
June 30, 1904, at Manitowoc. Mr. Krug and his brother were the original founders
of the Aluminum Specialty Co., Manitowoc, where he was vice president. In 1919,
they started the Aluminum Specialty Co. at Chilton, where Mr. Krug was manager
until his death, Aug. 28, 1948.
Survivors include a son, Edward, of San Jose, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Erving
(Ethel) Puntenney of Chicago and Mrs. Francis (Alice) Petithomme of Van Nuys,
Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Charles C. Seehase, of Manitowoc, and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Saturday where an Eastern Star
memorial service will be at 7 p.m.

MRS. KRUG OF CHILTON DIES AT 89

Mrs. Charles W. Krug, 89, formerly of 712 S. Madison St., Chilton, died at 2:30 a.m. Thursday at Calumet Homestead, New Holstein, where she was a resident for two years.

She was born Jan. 8, 1881, in Manitowoc, a daughter of Louis and Anna Solverson Peterson. The former Louella Peterson was married to Charles W. Krug on June 30, 1904, at Manitowoc.

Mr. Krug and his brother were original founders of the Aluminum Specialty Co. at Manitowoc and Mr. Krug served as vice-president of the company.

In August 1919, Mr. Krug started the Aluminum Specialty Co. in Chilton and he was the manager of the company until his death on Aug. 28, 1949.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Erving Puntenney of Chicago and Mrs. Francis Petithomme of Van Nuys, Calif.; one son, Edward Krug of San Jose, Calif.; four grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Charles Seehase of Manitowoc.
