John Krumdick, 78, Rt. 4, Manitowoc, died Tuesday afternoon after suffering a
heart attack.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Urbanek and Schlei
Funeral Home, Rev. Harold Bowman officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen
Cemetery.
He was born Jan. 22, 1878 in the town of Kossuth, the son of the late Daniel
and Mary Havlinek Krumdick. He came to Manitowoc where he was engaged in the
hardware business with the late Joseph Clarke until fire destroyed the building.
He married Erna Wills on April 10, 1915 at Milwaukee. Following the marriage
they returned to Manitowoc where they lived for one year and then moved to Rt. 4,
Manitowoc.
He was engaged in the importation of gladioli and tulips and was a director of
the Civil Works Administration. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are his wife; one daughter, Mrs. Edwin Gadzinski of Manitowoc; one son
Jack of Athol, Mass.; one sister, Mrs. Charles Groffman of Manitowoc.

services Friday at 1:30 p.m.

KRUMDICK & CLARK BLOCK REVERT TO OLD OWNER IN SALE TODAY
John Krumdick today repurchased the Krumdick & Clark block on North Eighth
street, sold at sheriff's sale yesterday, and bid in by J. Heffernan. It is
said that Mr. Krumdick paid $11,875 for the property. A front stairway is
to be put into the building and other changes made in it.
