Charles J. Krumm, 85, of 1414 S. 13th St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where he had been confined since May 16.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. D. L. Wandschneider will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery.
Mr. Krumm was born at Manitowoc Aug. 24, 1874, son of the late Charles and Augusta
Luebke Krumm. He married Caroline Kasten at Milwaukee April 19, 1897, and the
couple moved to Manitowoc. Before retiring seven years ago, Mr. Krumm had been
employed 60 years by Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. He was a member of Odd Fellows
Lodge and Macabees.
Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Joseph Waniger of Rt. 2, Two Rivers,
and Mr. Elsie Thielen of Racine; a son, Alvin W. of Manitowoc; five grandchildren
and 10 great grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday.
