Mrs. Henrietta Krumm, 84, a resident of this city for 80 years, died this
morning at the Holy Family hospital. She had been a patient there since
September 19 when she suffered a stroke at the home of her daughter, Mrs.
Herman Holsen, of 915 North 12th street, with whom she made her home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Pfeffer funeral
home, the Rev. A. C. Fischer of the First Reformed church officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Krumm, nee Henrietta Mueller was born in Stettien, Germany Nov. 28, 1854.
When a girl of four her parents came to the United states locating in Manitowoc.
She was married to Charles Krumm here in 1875. Mr. Krumm died in 1899.
She made her home with her daughter the past 30 years. Mrs. Krumm was a member
of the First Reformed church, Ladies Society of the church and the F.R.C. circle
of the congregation.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Holsen of this city; son, Charles M. Krumm of
this city; six grandchildren, Robert Holsen of Chicago , Jack Holsen of Los
Angeles, Jane Holsen attending school at Beloit, Robert Krum of Portland, Ore.;
Donald Krumm of Two Rivers, Charles J. Krumm of Madison; one great-grandchild,
a daughter of Robert Krumm of Portland. A son, George Krumm, died at Portland,
Ore., in 1938.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home from Friday afternoon until the hour
of the services Saturday.
