Dean R. Krupkat, of 734 S. 27th St., Manitowoc, died Monday morning, July 25,
2005, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, after a long courageous
battle with cancer.
He was born Nov. 12, in Kenosha, son of the late Kurt and Minnie (Bingham)
Krupkat. Dean was a graduate of Manitowoc’s Lincoln High School. He served in
the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. Dean married the former Lori
Fricke in Manitowoc. Dean owned and operated Krupkat’s Heating & Air Conditioning
in Manitowoc until his retirement in 1999. He was also an alderman in Manitowoc.
Dean was a past member of the Manitowoc Elks Club, Eagles Aerie 706 and the Yacht
Club. He enjoyed golfing, shooting, fishing, sailing and his cats. Dean was a
member of the Masquers for many years and acted in several plays including Sabrina
Fair.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Don Krupkat; a brother-in-law, Brian Fricke;
and his father-in-law, Arthur H. Fricke.
Private graveside services with military honors were held on Wednesday, July 27,
2005, at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
The Pfeffer Funeral Home & Cremation Care Center, Manitowoc, assisted the family
with funeral arrangements.
