KURT J. KRUPKAT
Kurt J. Krupkat of 617 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, died Thursday morning at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be conducted by the First Church of Christ, Scientists,
1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc. Burial will be in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitwooc.
Mr. Krupkat was born in Bellingham, Wash., son of the late John and Rachel
Wiese Krupkat. He attended schools in Bellingham and came to Wisconsin 1918.
He married Minnie Bingham March 3, 1918, at Lansing, Mich., and came to
Manitowoc to reside in 1929. The couple celebrated its golden wedding
anniversary in 1968. In 1932, Mr. Krupkat started the Krupkat Heating Co. and
operated it until his son, Dean, took over the business. He then served as
office manager.
Survivors include his wife, two sons, Donald of South Milwakee and Dean of
Manitowoc, a daughter, Mrs. Eugene (Kathleen) Spacek of Manitowoc and five
grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Friday until the time of
service. The casket will remain closed.
