Funeral services for the late John Kucera (sic), who died at his
home on the Plank road at the age of 72, were held Sunday afternoon
and largely attended by friends.
Mr. Kucera was a native of Bohemia and came to Manitowoc county in
1857. For twenty years he conducted a hotel on North Eighth street
and later removed to a farm. Besides his widow he is survived by two
daughters and one son.
