JOHN J. KUCHERA (d. 1973)

John J. Kichera, 75, of Mill Road, Manitowoc, died Saturday afternoon at
Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and
10 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Duane Dionne will
officiate and burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc. Military
graveside services will be conducted by the American Legion Drews-Bleser Post
No. 88.
Mr. Kuchera was born Feb. 3, 1898, at Kewaunee, son of the late Joseph and
Agnes Roemer Kuchera. He resided in Manitowoc for the past 40 years where he
had been employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding in the tool for 25 years. He
retired in 1963. He married Margaret Wachtl and she preceded him in death in
1947. Mr. Kuchera then married Agnes Felde April 3, 1948, at Manitowoc.
Mr. Kuchera was a veteran of World War I serving overseas. He was member of the
American Legion Drews-Bleser Post No. 88, the V.F.W. Otto Oas Post No. 659, the
Fraternal Order of Eagles No. 706 and the Royal Neighbors.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday where a Memorial
service will be held at 7:30 p.m.
