MARIE T. KUCHERA

Miss Marie T. Kuchera, 80, of 1117A S. 26th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday evening,
Ocotber 5, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9:30 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 10 a.m.
at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Theodore Hendricks will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Miss Kuchera was born Dec. 10, 1899, at Manitowoc, daughter of the late Joseph
and Agnes Roemer Kuchera. She had resided in Manitowoc all her life and was
educated in Manitowoc and Wausau School Systems. Miss Kuchera enjoyed the outdoor
life, was active in hunting, fishing, skiing, swimming and bowling and also
traveled extensively throughout the country. Prior to her retirement in 1965, she
had been employed for more than 40 years with Mirro Corporation where she was head
of the mail department. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary, Mary Knoll
Mission Society and Catholic Women's club.
Survivors include a brother, William P. Kuchera of Muskego, Wis.; two sisters, Mrs.
Agnes K. Stuelcken of McLean, Va., and Mrs. Catherine Dippman of Keshena and nieces
and nephews. Two brothers, John C. and Charles J. Kuchera and a sister, Mrs. Claire
Robb preceded her in death.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday, where a prayer
service will be at 8 p.m. by members of Catholic Women's Club, Mary Knoll Society
and relatives and friends. A memorial fund has been established in her name.
