Leonard Kuecker, 75, of 923 N. Sixth St., Manitowoc, died early Thursday morning at his home after a heart attack. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Saturday at Wesley Methodist church, Manitowoc, with the Rev. Donald Stannard officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.Mr. Kuecker was born July 5, 1884, son of the late August and Caroline Tetzlaff Kuecker. He married Emma Otto August 18, 1914 at Brillion. He had been employed at the Croll Food Store and in the dry dock division at Manitowoc Shipbuilding Inc. He had been a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and had been a member of Old Company H of the Manitowoc National Guard.Survivors are his wife; a son, Howard, army recruiting officer, Wharton, Texas; a daughter, Mrs. Harold Zermuehler of Two Rivers; a brother, Samuel of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. William Ziemer of Manitowoc and three grandchildren.Friends may call at Urbanek & Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 pm Friday and until 10:30 am Saturday when the body will be moved to the church to lie in state until the hour of services.Manitowoc Herald Times, Thurs., Nov. 10, 1960 page T7*******[d. 11-10-1960/age 75 yrs.]
