Kurt A. (Tom) Kuehn, 94, of 1211 S. 18th St., Manitowoc, died Wednesday evening, Aug. 11, at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Kuehn was born May 12, 1888, at Sheboygan Falls, son of the late Albert and Augusta Joseph Kuehn. He married Mary Mueller March 8, 1919, at Fond du Lac. The couple then moved to Manitowoc, residing here since. She preceded him in death Aug. 23, 1968. Prior to his retirement in 1958, Mr. Kuehn had been employed at Manitowoc Shipbuilding as a machinist.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Oran Bushman of Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Emma Buss of Sheboygan; five grandchildren, Mrs. Grant (Vicki) Houghton of Two Rivers, Michael, Tina and Lisa Bushman of Manitowoc, and Thomas Bushman of Two Rivers, two great grandchildren, Craig and Adria Houghton of Two Rivers; nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by two brothers, two sisters and a grandson, Steven.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and at the church Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of services.
