PASSES AWAY AT ADVANCED AGE OF 77 YRS.
Mrs. Adolph Kugler, one of the oldest residents of Rapids, died
Sunday at the advanced age of 77 years. The funeral will be held
Thursday at Rapids.
Mr. Kugler came to Manitowoc county in 1863 and for 55 years had
resided at Rapids. With her husband she celebrated their golden
wedding March 24, 1914. Mrs. Kugler was the mother of 11 children,
four of whom, with her husband survive, being Anna, of Lane, Idaho;
Herman, Frank and Walter of Rapids. Seventeen grandchildren and
four brothers also survive. The brothers are August Schultz,
Hortonville; Adolph, Clintonville; Otto, Green Bay, and Bernard
of Sheboygan.
