EMIL KUNISH
Emil Kunish, 53, tailor in Manitowoc for many years and a member of the Eagles
lodge, died Sunday afternoon at the Holy Family hospital after an illness of
two months. He had been a patient at the hospital since Thursday.
Mr. Kunish, whose home was at 1212 South 16th street, had operated the Kunish-
Kuffel Clothing company at 904 Washington street.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Wattawa, Urbanek and
Schlei funeral home, the Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss officiating. Burial will be in
Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Kunish was born on May 31, 1884, in the town of Gibson and the family moved
to Manitowoc when he was four years old. Seven years ago he married Ruth Sather
of Eau Claire. She survives, with one son, Jackie, a brother, Frank, a sister,
Mrs. Thomas Posvic and the mother, Mrs. Matt Kunish, all of Manitowoc.
The body will lie in state at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home from
Tuesday noon until the hour of the funeral.
