Mrs. Ruth M. Kunish, 74, of 1212 S. 16th St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning
at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, where she had been a patient two weeks.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc.
The Rev. Paul H. Blaufuss will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen
cemetery, Manitowoc.
The former Ruth Sather was born Jan. 26, 1894, at Eau Claire, daughter of the
late John and Hannah Hanson Sather. She was married in August of 1930 to Emil
Kunish and the couple moved to Manitowoc. He died Oct. 31, 1937. Mrs. Kunish
was a member of St. John United Church of Christ Women’s Guild.
Surviving her are a son, Jack, of Lake Mills, Wis., a sister, Mrs. Hugo Butz,
of Manitowoc and two grandchildren.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Thursday.
