Mrs. Edward Kunish, 40, of 911 Summit St., Manitowoc, died unexpectedly early
Friday morning at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral arrangements will be announced Saturday by Urbanek and Schlei Funeral
Home, Manitowoc, pending word from a son stationed with the armed forces in
Germany.
She was born Ruth Meyers July 18, 1919, at Manitowoc, daughter of Carl F. Sr.,
and Amanda Wilke Meyers. She attended parochial schools and was graduated from
Lincoln High School with the Class of 1936. She was married to Edward Kunish at
Manitowoc June 10, 1939.
Surviving are the husband; two sons, Sgt. Sp/4 John with the Army in Germany
and James at home, daughter, Janis, 7, at home; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Carl F.
Meyers Sr., of Manitowoc; brother, Carl H. Meyers Jr. of Manitowoc; and sister,
Mrs. Fred Toltzman of Manitowoc.

Funeral services for Mrs. Edward Kunish, 40, of 911 Summit St., Manitowoc,
who died Fricay will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First German Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. L.H. Koeninger will officiate and
burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call at Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after
2 p.m. Monday until 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when the casket will be moved to
the church where the body will lie in state until the hour of service.
