FLORIAN KUNZ

Florian John Kunz, 70, of 608 Huron street, lifelong county resident, died late
Saturday afternoon at Holy Family hospital, of a cerebral hemorrhage.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Shimek and Schwartz
funeral home and at 9 o’clock at the Sacred Heart church, the Rev. L. M. Schorn
officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Kunz was born in Branch in 1875 and in 1904 married Miss Elizabeth Kealey.
For many years he had been employed as bookkeeper at the office of the Manitowoc
Land and Fuel company. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of the Sacred
Heart congregation.
Survivors are three daughters, Alice, Rita and Mr. Charles Kelley, whose husband
is in the U.S. Navy, all of this city; son, Godfrey, now serving with the navy
in the south Pacific; two sisters, Mrs. William Bruenig and Mr. A. H. Specht of
Mishicot; and a grandson.
The body may be viewed at the funeral home where the rosary wil be recited at
8 o’clock this evening.
