Landscape Architect Dies Friday Afternoon At Home
Paul G. Kunz, 31, landscape architect and greenhouse operator, died Friday
afternoon at the home, 522 North Fifth street. He had been in failing health
for over a year.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. from the First Lutheran church
in charge of the Rev. D. G. Ristad. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mr. Kunz was born in this city in 1905, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Kunz.
He was graduated from the Lincoln high school and later attended Carroll college,
Waukesha. When he completed school he returned here to engage in landscape work.
He married Miss Viola Stine in 1932.
He was an officer in the De Molay for a number of years and in his early life
was active in Boy Scout work.
Survivors are the widow; a son, Paul Jr.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Kunz;
and two brothers, Lester, Minneapolis, and Franklin, city.
The body is at the Frazier mortuary and may be viewed there until Monday at 11
a.m. when it will be moved to the First Lutheran church.
