Mrs. Edward (Anna) Kusse, 85, of 2006 Rankin St., Manitowoc, died Tuesday
morning at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Private graveside rites were held Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Kusse, nee Anna Taiche, was born July 26, 1880, at Maribel, daughter of
the late Adolph and Barbara Krainik Taiche. She and her husband, Edward, owned
Kusse’s Orchards at Manitowoc. She was a Manitowoc County resident most of her
life and was a member of Rebecca Lodge No. 18 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Lillian Hardke, of Wauwatosa and Mrs. Edith
Cromos, of West Allis. Her husband, a son, Edward, a daughter, Gertrude Cisler,
four brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Urbanek and Schlei Funeral Home, Manitowoc, was in charge of funeral
arrangements.
