Frederick G. (Fritz) Kutil age 83, of 1881 Nagle Ave. Manitowoc, died Sunday
evening, April 21, 1996, at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center.
Masonic Memorial Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, 1996,
at Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Ninth Street Chapel with burial
to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
He was born August 18, 1912, Manitowoc, son of the late Peter and Ida Schmidt
Kutil. He grew up and attended schools in Manitowoc. He graduated from Lincoln
High School in 1930. Fritz also attended Ripon College and the Chicago Technical
College. After attending college, Fritz joined his father in the construction
business known as the P.J. Kutil and Sons Builders. He retired in 1972. He
married the former Evelyn Strouf, August 29, 1935. She preceded him in death
on September 15, 1966. He then married the former Ann C. (Wachal) Bonk on
June 10, 1974. Fritz was a member of Masonic Lodge #65, Manitowoc F.&A.M. of
Wisconsin, Manitowoc Chapter #16, Manitowoc Council #18, Commandery #45 Manitowoc
Knights Templar, Tripoli Temple of Milwaukee, Wisconsin,and the Two Rivers Shrine
Club of Tripoli Temple, Milwaukee.
Survivors include his wife, Ann, Manitowoc; one stepson, Gary Bonk, Rockwood; one
step-daughter and son-in-law, Maxine and Joe Fusco, Rome, N.Y.; nine step-
grandchildren, eleven step-great-grandchildren; one brother-in-law, Al Hoffman,
Saddle River, N.J.; two nephews other relatives and friends also survive. He was
preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Hoffman.
Family and friends may call at Reinbold and Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Ninth
Street Chapel from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday until time of services.
Memorials would be appreciated to the Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
