Mary E. LaChappelle, age 82, a resident of St. Mary's Home, died Monday evening,
May 22, 1995, at the home.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 1995, at the Pfeffer
Funeral Home. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Thomas Wojciechowski O.F.M.
with burial at Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
She was born February 18, 1913, in Peshtigo, daughter of the late Edmond and
Fanny Dahlin Kehoe. She married Gustave Kitscher August 3, 1935. He preceded
her in death in 1953. She then married Walter LeChapelle (sic) April 7, 1962.
He preceded her in death July 17, 1980.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Carl and Donna Kitscher, Heuber
Springs, Ark.; a daughter and son-in-law, Margaret and Donald DeBaere, Manitowoc;
a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Ruby Kehoe, Oregon; five sisters and two
brothers-in-law, Agnes Steppke, Marinette, Ellen Baker, Oregon, Marge and Jim
Simpson, Patsy Ben, Josephine and Mike McNamara, all of Chicago. Also surviving
are four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives
and her many friends at St. Mary's Home.
Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home from 9 a.m. Thursday, May 25, 1995,
until the time of service at 11 a.m. There will be no Wednesday evening visitation.
