JOSEPH N. LACOST

Joseph N. LaCost 58, a veteran of World War I, died at the Veterans hospital
in Milwaukee on Monday.
The body is lying in state at the Shimek and Schwartz funeral home this evening.
A military funeral will be accorded the deceased on Thursday morning, brief
services being held at 8:30 at the funeral parlors, and at 9 o’clock a requiem
mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Louis Schorn in the Sacred Heart Catholic
church. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery. The Drews-Bleser post of the
American Legion will conduct the rites at the grave.
Mr. LaCost was born July 16, 1886 in Muskegon, Michigan.
Survivors are his wife, Emma, a son, Air Student Joseph LaCost Jr., of Santa Ana,
Calif, three daughters, Cadet Nurse Marion LaCost of the Michael Reese hospital
in Chicago, Mrs. Harry McKinnon of this city and Emma Lou at home, two sisters,
Mrs. John Roy of Duluth, Minn., and Mrs. Arthur Gagnon of New Orleans, La.
