STROKE FATAL TO A. LA COUNT, FOUR CORNERS
Abraham LaCount, aged and life long resident of Manitowoc county,
died at his home at Four Corners Sunday night, following a stroke
which he suffered on Thursday. Mr. LaCount was stricken suddenly
and never raliied (sic) from the attack. Funeral services will be
held from the home of his sister Mrs. Charles Knuell at Four Corners
at 9:30 Wednesday morning and from Sacred Heart church, this city,
at 10 o'clock.
Mr. LaCount was 70 years of age and had spent his entire life in
Manitowoc county. For years he resided with a sister, deceased, and
since that time had made his home alone. He was cared for by relatives
in his last illness. One brother, George LaCount, of Carney, Mich.,
and two sisters, Mrs. Knuell, Rapids and Mrs. O. Jeanette of Rhinelander,
survive him. Mr. LaCount had never married.
