DIES ON FARM SHE LIVED ON ALL HER LIFE
On the farm where she was born more than sixty years ago and which she had
never left, Miss Mary LaCount, member of one of the pioneer families of the
county, passed away last night at the home of her brother, Abraham LaCount
at Four Corners. Miss LaCount’s death followed a stroke of paralysis which
she suffered some time ago.
Miss LaCount was born July 15, 1858 and had never married. She is survived
by two sisters and two brothers, Mrs. Charles Knell and Abraham LaCount of
Four Corners, George LaCount of Carney, Mich., and Mrs. Ora Genette, of
Rhinelander. The funeral will be held from the home to Sacred Heart church
tomorrow morning, the Rev. M. Luby officiating. Service at the church will
be at 9 o’clock.
