officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. Ladwig was born Helene Broeker in Dodge county, Nebr., in 1870. As a young
girl she moved to Mishicot with her parents. She was married to Henry Ladwig in
1891 in the town of Two Rivers after which the couple settled in Manitowoc where
they have resided since that
time. She was a member of the Immanuel Ladies' Aid society. She is survived by
her husband, five daughters, Mrs. Lloyd Allen and Mrs. Edwin Rusch of Manitowoc,
Mrs. Lyell Proter of Madison, Mrs. A.B. Green of Cedar Falls, Ia. and Miss Helen
Ladwig of Dallas, Tex.; three
sons Carl, William and Herman of Manitowoc; a brother Fred of Manitowoc; seven
grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
The body may be viewed at the Urbanek and Schlei funeral home from Friday noon
until 10 a.m. Saturday and at the church from 10 a.m. until time of services.
