Raymond C. Langer, 68, of 1223 N. 11th St., Manitowoc, died Monday, Oct. 10, at Memorial Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be 9 a.m. Thursday at Pfeffer Funeral Home and 9:30 a.m. at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Daniel Felton and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Mr. Langer was born May 28, 1915, in the Town of Carlton, Kewaunee Co., son of the late Frank and Josephine Chermak Langer. He was a veteran of 5 years in the United States Army in World War II in the 32nd Division serving in the Pacific Theatre. He married Marian Schmidt on June 25, 1947, at St. Luke Catholic Church, Two Rivers. Mr. Langer owned and operated the Langer Deep Rock Service Station in Manitowoc for 33 years.
Survivors include his wife, Marian; a son, Martin Langer of LaCrosse, Wis.; a brother, Frank Langer of Two Rivers, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Joseph, and William, and two sisters, France and Hattie.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday where a prayer service will be at 7 p.m. by Deacon Don Gigure.
