A.E. LARSEN PASSES AWAY
Body To Be Brought From Arizona For Burial Here
E. W. Fehring today received a message from Phoenix, Ariz., advising of the
death of his brother-in-law, Arthur E. Larsen, 38. Mr. Larsen, who was gassed
in the World war, has been in failing health of a number of years.
Burial is to take place at Evergreen cemetery here. The body will arrive from
the west Tuesday afternoon and will be taken to the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei
funeral home. Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m., at the funeral home with
the Rev. L. H. Koeninger of the First German Evangelical Lutheran church
officiating.
Born in Racine
A firing squad and color guard from the Drews post of the American Legion will
officiate.
Mr. Larsen was born in Racine in 1898. In 1921, after the war, he married Miss
Olivia Fehring, daughter of Mrs. William Fehring of this city. After a short
residence in Denver, they took up their home in Arizona. He was a member of the
American Legion.
Survivors are his widow and a sister, Camera, of Phoenix, Ariz.

overseas, died at Phoenix, Ariz. The body arrived here Tuesday afternoon
and the funeral was held Thursday afternoon with military honors accorded.
Survivors are the widow and a sister.

Father: Charles Larsen, born Denmark.
Mother: Johana Hausen, born Sweden.
Spouse: Olivia Olsen Larsen.

He lived 10 years in Arizona, with 5 1/2 years in Phoenix, Maricopa County.
Residence: 135 Windsor Drive, Phoenix.

He died in Good Samaritan Hospital, Phoenix. At the time of his death, 12:05 P.M., June 5, 1936, he was age 37 years, 4 months, 16 days.

Cause of Death: Chronic Pulmonary Tuberculosis; tuberculosis enteritis.

Informant for Certificate: Comira Larsen, 135 Windsor Drive. Removal of remains to Manitowac, Wisconsin on June 7, 1936.
