DEATH CAUSED BY PNEUMONIA
Hilbert Larson(sic), Passes, Services to be Held Friday
Hilbert L. Larson, 66, of 508 Huron Street, retired plumber, died at 9:30 last
night at the Holy Family Hospital, where he had been a patient since Friday.
Pneumonia was the cause of his death although he had been in ill health for
some years.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the First
Lutheran church, the Rev. Ristad officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen
Cemetery. The body will lie at the Frazier Mortuary until o'clock Friday
morning.
Mr. Larson was born in Manitowoc, Oct. 2, 1870. He never married. After attending
plumbing business here with his brothers, Ben and William, in 1905 Mr. Larson went
to Merrill, Wis., where he opened the Merrill Plumbing and Heating company. A year
later his brothers joined him. In 1922 he returned to this city and retired. Mr.
Larson moved to California in 1929 because of ill health and returned here in
1931. He was a member of First Lutheran Church and in the early nineties was a
member of the Company H here.
Survivors include two brothers and a sister, with whom he made his home. The
brothers are William and Benjamin Larson and the sister, Miss Iunia Larson, all
of Manitowoc.
