Sylvia Marie (née Jackson) Monka Larsen
Sylvia M. Larsen, age 86, formerly of Huron Street in Manitowoc, died Tuesday morning, August 3, 1999, at the Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Sylvia was born January 13, 1913, at St. Paul, Minn. She moved to Manitowoc as a child, attending local schools and graduating from Lincoln High School. She worked for Gray-Robinson Construction Co., Manitowoc, as a secretary for many years.
She first was married to Joseph Monka, who died in 1968. She
then married Tjodolf Larsen, on July 28, 1969, at Manitowoc, who died in 1980.
She was a member of St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include one son, Bruce Monka, Manitowoc; one son-in-law, Joseph Kirschner, Fredonia, Wisconsin. Also surviving are grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Kirschner, in 1999 and her husbands.
Funeral Services will be held at Reinbold & Pfeffer Family Funeral Home, Manitowoc, with burial to follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
