WILLIAM LARSEN (d. 1922)

BOY KILLED BY BIG AUTO TRUCK, IS BURIED HERE
The body of William Larsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Christ Larsen, former
residents of Branch this county, was brought here from Chicago for burial
today, the funeral being held from the Urbanek & Wattawa chapel to
Evergreen cemetery at 2 this afternoon.
The boy, aged three and one-half years, died from injuries sustained
when he was run down by a heavy auto truck while playing near his home
in Chicago. The accident happened Tuesday and the boy suffered a fracture
of the skull and internal injuries which caused death twenty-four hours
later. The big truck which struck the boy was one of seven and one-half
ton capacity and the wonder is that the child was not killed outright.
