Marilyn Brandt Larson, age 80, of Richfield, formerly of Manitowoc, died on
Wednesday morning, June 17, 2009, at Columbia-St. Marys Hospital Ozaukee,
Mequon.
The former Marilyn Brandt was born on Feb. 5, 1929, in Manitowoc, daughter
of the late Leo and Ida (Schmidt) Brandt. She was a 1947 graduate of Manitowoc
Lincoln High School. Marilyn worked for many years as executive secretary for
the vice president of Rahr Malting Company in Manitowoc. She married Dr.
Arthur N. Larson on July 7, 1965, in Alexandria, Minn. He preceded her in death
on April 9, 1995. She was a former member of St. James Episcopal Church and the
Business and Professional Womens Club of Manitowoc.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Leo and Ida Brandt; her husband: Dr.
Arthur N. Larson; three brothers: Col. Leo M. Brandt; John Brandt; David Brandt;
two sisters: June Stehn and Althea Lippert; three brothers-in-law: Harvey Lippert,
Randolph Stehn, and Dr. Theodore G. Larson.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, 2009, at St.
James Episcopal Church, 434 North 8th St., Manitowoc. The Father Michael Parks
will officiate with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery.
Relatives and friends may call on Friday from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Reinbold & Pfeffer
Family Funeral Home, 818 State Street, Manitowoc, and again on Saturday at the
church from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in her name.
