REUBEN K. LARSON (d. 1973)

Reuben K. Larson, 49, of 1402 S. Ninth St., Manitowoc, died Saturday at Holy
Family Hospital, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at
St. John United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gerald Schrankler will
officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Larson was born Mar. 2, 1924 at Manitowoc, son of the late Oscar and Inga
Hansen Larson. He was a veteran of World War II, serving with the army from
1943 to 1946 with the 358th QM Truck Company in the African and European
theaters. He married Ione Streich Sept. 19, 1947 in Illinois. He was employed
as a truck driver in the City of Manitowoc. He was a veteran member of the
Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 706 of Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jan of Milwaukee and Kim at home; a
daughter, Jodie at home; four brothers, Grant, Harlan and Donald of Manitowoc
and Ralph of Oshkosh; four sisters, Mrs. Harlan Krueger and Mrs. Gladys Bull
of Manitowoc, Mrs. Edna LoGatto of Fort Worth, Texas and Mrs. Bernett Benson
of Yuba City, Calif.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home from 5 to 9 o'clock this Monday
afternoon. The casket will be moved to the church at 9:30 am Tuesday, where
the body will lie in state until the time of service.
