Mrs. Emma Lasch, 92, formerly of 1520 Clarks St., Manitowoc, died Friday afternoon in Holy Family Hospital Extended Care Facility, Manitowoc. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Monday in First Reformed United Church of Christ, Manitowoc. The Rev. William A. Schulz will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Lasch, nee Emma Schomburg, was born Aug. 21, 1886 in Centerville, daughter of the late Henry and Caroline Grupe Schomburg. She was married to Paul C. Lasch April 17, 1913 in Milwaukee. The couple moved to Sun Prairie where they owned and operated a cheese factory for a number of years. They moved to Manitowoc in 1922. Mr. Lasch preceded her in death in 1951. Mrs. Lasch was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ, the Ladies aid and the Germania Society.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Milo and Gertrude Lasch of Manitowoc; two grandsons, Gary of Milwaukee and Glen of New Prague, Minn.; a great grandchild; cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call in Jens Funeral Home, Manitowoc from 5 o'clock to 9 o'clock this Sunday evening and in the church Monday from noon until the time of service.
