Milo H. Lasch, age 88, of 2930 Lindbergh Drive, Manitowoc died Friday, September 17, 2004 at Aurora Medical Center, Two Rivers. Milo was born Sept. 11, 1916 at Madison, son of the late Paul and Emma (Schomburg) Lasch. He grew up and was educated at Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School with the class of 1935 and was an alumnus of Lakeland College. He was employed at Schmidtman Company for 40 years retiring in 1979. On May 8, 1942 he married Gertrude L. Johnsen at Christ Ev. Lutheran Church at Denmark. They celebrated 61 years together. Milo enjoyed their cottage at Shawano Lake, traveling, bowling and playing cards. He was a member of First Reformed United Church of Christ and Manitowoc Senior Center. Milo is survived by his wife: Gertrude, Manitowoc; two sons: Gary (Ellen) Lasch, Milwaukee; Glen (Betsy) Lasch, New Prague, Minn.; five grandchildren: Jenny (Andy) Shepard, Sarah (Dan) Gullickson, Matt Lasch and Andy and Austin Lasch; two great grandchildren: Emma Gullickson and Luke Shepard; a sister-in-law: Eleanor (Don) Hahlbeck, Milwaukee, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2004 at First Reformed United Church of Christ, 3616 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc. Rev. Richard Runge will officiate with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Relatives and friends may call from 5 to 7pm Monday at Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 1122 South 8th St., Manitowoc. The visitation will continue on Tuesday at the Church from 10 a.m. to the time of service at 11 a.m. In addition to other expressions of sympathy, memorials to First Reformed United Church of Christ of the donor's choice would be appreciated. The staff of the Jens Family Funeral Home & Crematory is serving the Lasch Family.
