Mabel L. Laveck, age 96, entered into eternal life on Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at her residence at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center, Manitowoc. Mabel was born on May 11, 1909, in Manitowoc to the late Theodore and Minnie Fricke Laveck. For many years, Mabel had been employed at Weyerhauser Corp. in Manitowoc, and was also a long-time member of St. John's United Church of Christ. She greatly enjoyed life, and her many friends and relatives that were very special to her. Survivors include a brother: Carl Laveck, Manitowoc; one niece; three nephews; along with other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister: Isabel Kutil; a brother: Earl Laveck; a brother-in-law: Joe Kutil; and a sister-in-law: Olive Laveck. The family will greet relatives and friends on Tuesday, Nov. 29, 2005, at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Jim Klein will be officiating with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery. The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
