Memorial services will be conducted by the Women’s Relief corps at 7 o’clock
this evening at the Wattawa, Urbanek and Schlei funeral home for Mr. Joseph
Lawrence, 80, of 508 St. Cl___ street, who was found dead at her home by her
son, First Sgt. Archer Lawrence, on furlough from Camp Ellis,, Ill. When Mrs.
Lawrence was 72 she made her stage debut here when she took the leading role
in the Civic Players’ production at the community one-act play festival.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 o’clock Friday afternoon at the St.
John Church with burial in Evergreen cemetery.
