EMILIA LEFKY

Mrs. Emilia Lefky, 96, formerly of 1127 Waldo Blvd., Manitowoc, died Sunday morning in Park Lawn Home, Manitowoc. Private family funeral services will be 9:30 am Wednesday at Parkside Funeral Home and 10 am in Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Manitowoc. The Rev. Leo J. Schmidt will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Lefky, nee Emilia Skarvan, was born March 4, 1882 in the Town of Kossuth, daughter of the late Thomas and Mary Hepleck Skarvan. She was educated in Manitowoc County and was married to Anton Lefky Nov. 25, 1902. He preceded her in death May 13, 1966. Mrs. Lefky was a charter member of Holy Innocents Parish and a member of Christian Mothers Altar Society.
Survivors include two sons, Clarence and Anton F. of Manitowoc; a daughter, Clara Stansky of Mission, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Anton (Alvina) Novy of Manitowoc and Mrs. Anna Stangel of Two Rivers; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A daughter, two brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
Relatives may call in Parkside Funeral Home, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, 6 pm to 9 pm Tuesday where a prayer service will be at 7:30 pm.
